Dawn to dusk
Township residents may now bring recyclable materials to the fire station and township offices at 5843 Beechwood Ave. N.E., across the street from Washington Elementary School, from dawn to dusk each day.
Acceptable
Acceptable materials are newspapers, magazines, phone books, corrugated cardboard, cartons for beverages, tissue, food, detergent and cigarettes, office and computer paper, hard cover books, gift and toy boxes, non-foil gift wrap, greeting cards, cancelled checks, pizza boxes unsoiled paper plates and boxes from crackers, cookies and candy.
Not acceptable
Wax paper, wax corrugated boxes, oil cans, Styrofoam, foam packaging, wood or metal objects and plastic bags.
